Join artist-in-residency WolfyII for a night of drawing, open to anyone and everyone. This community series begins Wednesday evening February 7th and runs for four weeks from 7-9pm
Each evening is dedicated to an object or idea to draw, sketch, contemplate, and discuss. The artist-in-residence will provide some materials such as pen, ink and papers but participants are encouraged to bring the materials that they are most comfortable using to create. The workshop is an informal exploration of ideas and art. The structure and course of the evening will be directed by all participants and the path the work directs.
The February 7th theme is Wood. The aspects of wood representation can be challenging from leaf to bark to end grain, limb, and log. Some simple devices for creating the illusion of form and texture will be revealed and explored through the simple act of communal & repetitive drawing.
Cost: $60 non-member/ $55 member
