Join us on a super-fun-filled art making exploration.  Young artists will dive deep into all the ways we can imagine art-making with a few simple kitchen ingredients.  We will invent recipes, draw from life, create natural dye, make books, learn pattern making, practice alternative print making methods and more!

Join us for 8 Thursday's (May 3rd-June 21st0 from 3:30-5:30pm for a beautiful hands on exploration of art making with the wild and cultivated flowers, that are fresh in bloom!  We will learn how to press, print, paint, make medicine and body care, dye and more from these tiny treasures growing in our yards.

Little Big Art Explorers

Join artist Alison Fox on Wednesday mornings for an adult/child art making adventure!

Children ages 0 to 4 years and their parent/caregiver will work together, learning and developing basic art skills such as painting, collage, and printmaking. All projects are process based and fun sensory experiences. Adults will enjoy working along side their kids in this exploratory art class.

December 7th and 14th, WALK-IN

$20 first kid, $15 each additional per family

Alison Fox is an educator and artist born in New York City. She holds an MFA in painting from Hunter College and has been teaching art for over 15 years to students of different ages, backgrounds and abilities. Alison began her career as an arts educator at the Church Street School for music and art, a not for profit community school in lower Manhattan. After moving upstate in 2010, Alison offered her popular young child and parent art classes at the Hudson Opera House and is currently a faculty arts teacher to young adults at Triform Camphill Community. Alison is inspired to bring meaningful ways for students to joyfully engage with creativity through their own art making.
