CHILDREN'S YOGA + MINDFULNESS

This class combines yoga and mindfulness practices in an accessible and intentional way, rooted in the Little Flower Yoga methodology. Yoga and mindfulness is proven to offer methods that encourage developing the inner resilience we need to navigate physical, mental, and emotional stress. We will build fundamental life skills in each session through 5 key elements: Connect, Breathe, Move, Focus, and Relax.

Together, we will build our inner resources, improve emotional balance, and connect to our community with joyful programming for our children to not only thrive, but embrace joy in a challenging world (LFY).

Q. WHAT WILL WE DO IN CLASS?

We will learn mindfulness practices to connect to ourself, the world around us, and our community.

We will breathe and explore how we can manage our emotional and energetic state.

We will move, we will stretch and grow strong.

We will focus to recognize what distraction is, and increase our ability to pay attention.

We will learn skills of relaxation to sleep better at night and manage over-stimulation.

Q. WHEN IS IT? WHAT AGES?

Times are decided by community initiative. For more info on how community initiative works, see our Children’s Workshop Menu.

This class can be geared for children as little as 3 years old up to teens.

Q. AND FOR THE PARENTS?

We are offering a complimentary CALM_DOWN + COFFEE_UP downstairs for parents who want to wait for their children. Come chit-chat and caffeinate with us!
