Join us for eight sessions of art-making: Thursday's May 3rd-June 21st 3:30-5:30pm
Ages 8+ Limited to 10 participants (will consider advanced 7yr-olds)
In these exploratory interdisciplinary arts workshops, young artists engage in place based creative making and research, working with seasonal flowers as inspiration. Artists will cover creative terrain ranging from: flower printing, flower pressing, alternative print methods, flower arranging, life drawing, natural dye processes, and creating natural products with local flowers.
Costs: $350 + $50 materials fee ( A need based scholarship available)

Dawn Breeze//founder and director of Instar Lodge, is a creativity advocate, change agent, and internationally awarded interdisciplinary artist based in Germantown, NY and holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts with a focus on Art Education and Socially Engaged Art from Goddard College. With over six years of professional experience in arts education, her roster of clients ranges from k-8 schools to dual diagnosis treatment centers, leadership programs and much more. Her teaching practice includes program development, curriculum design, and teacher training. Her ongoing creativity curriculum, Creativity + Courage™, is a series of participatory workshops throughout New England for institutions, corporations, and recovery programs.
