lex*i*con (#1)

Join us for our first reading of the season at Instar Lodge. We are proud to feature our inaugural Virginia Resident, Karen Schoemer alongside Dawn Breeze and Annie Bielski, Jennifer Wai-Lan Strodl from our women’s writing group Tailspinning.

Tailspinning is a writing group for women writers of all types (prose, poetry, hybrid, etc.) who want to develop new creative pieces in a supportive collective environment. We know that creativity lies in the mystery of willfully giving up control and stepping or spinning into the unknown. In this wild and wooly writing group, we generate new work, even fragments through evocative and unpredictable prompts.
