Change-Machine: Money Matters
Part-book-club, part-confessional, part-get-your-shit-in-order.
Come reckon with your financial identity with the Instar Lodge Team. It’s time to get serious about money. We will be your change-making machine! (Throw your collection of quarters here!)
Money can be scary! We get it, but money can be creative. Make the commitment to show up for your bacon, and we’ll meet you with an unabashed point of view. We will be in conversation with journalists, politicians, authors, activists and fellow friends; but most importantly we will be changing our habitual (non)relationships with money into a love affair.
WE ALL HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE.
Let’s settle in, maybe bring some snacks or rose in a can, and let’s talk. Let’s talk about debt and saving goals and what you feel guilty about spending money on and what makes you proud with your money.
This change-machine [support hug] group meets on Mondays. We’ll meet the LAST MONDAY OF THE MONTH IN PERSON from 7pm-9pm. All other Mondays, we will have a half-hour GROUP CHECK IN at 8pm. *This may be subject to change depending on group consensus for best weekly accountability method.
Money Matters is a $250 suggested donation, 5 month commitment to paying attention to your relationship with money. That’s about $12.50 per week or three lattes hold-the-foam please (and we’ll talk about coffee spending habits). Perhaps most valuable is that your donation is an action with intention towards your new relationship with money. It’s a CHANGE thing!
*Please note : We offer our programs at rates that makes it possible to cover our costs and provide FREE public programing. We ask you make a level 1 donation unless there is no other way to attend. We will not turn away a participant for lack of funds. If you cannot meet these suggested donation tiers, please send an email: firstname.lastname@example.org
